Two years ago, a generous supporter donated a mobile home to Stray Central. The land the home is on doesn't belong to the supporter. We were recently notified by the land owner that he wants to build on his property which means we must move our mobile home by the end of this year. Since the mobile home gives us a permanent structure, we now need to purchase a small piece of land to give our rescue and sanctuary a permanent home.
My goal since I started in rescue in 1983 was to have a permanent location for Stray Central. I have always run it out of my rented homes, with the help of foster homes and volunteers. Due to my rental homes being sold or going to a no-pets policy, I have had to move the organization several times. Cats do not handle stress well and every move takes its toll on them, especially our sanctuary cats who have emotional problems to begin with. Having a mobile home donated to us gives us one half of our goal of permanency - now we need a small piece of land to complete our dream and to give our rescues and sanctuary cats the stability they need and deserve.
Thank you for your consideration and many blessings!
If you can't adopt - foster.
If you can't foster - sponsor.
If you can't sponsor - volunteer.
If you can't volunteer - donate.
If you can't donate - educate, network, and crosspost.
EVERYONE can do something - large or small - to help save a life!
