Caring Heart for Kids

Lewiston, Maine, United States
I work in a Title I school and some of our families don't have enough money to provide basic necessities to their family. I am starting a "closet" where I will have items like shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, backpacks, coats, ski pants, etc. for those in need.

Kimberly Rand Thank you so very much! I found out that one of my students and his two siblings didn't have winter clothing or basic necessities. His mother is a single mother who works and struggles to get basic necessities after she pays the bills. Even though I have only received $370, I was able to provide that family with winter coats, gloves, and boots as well as shampoo and conditioner, laundry detergent, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap. They were so deeply grateful. After all that I was still able to buy shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes for 15 more students at my school. Thank you SO very much!!
