Hello! I'm on a quest to support the companionship and mutual benefit between children and rescued animals.
I'm venturing into building "The Red Barn," a haven which fosters the companionship and mutual benefit of children and rescued animals. Enrichment and support will be offered through the connection of rescued animals, as well as through elements found in one's environment. Activities such as farming, animal care, gardening, art, music, and journaling will be used to engage the children. I would like to offer respite to foster parents and sessions for local therapists and counselors. As well, there will be on-going sessions for mental health counselors to work with children. The initial funds for this 501c3 go toward the “therapy barn build" and grant proposal. Join "Bernard Lettuce Tomato," the Red Barn’s resident therapy pig, in creating a magical place of friendship and compassion for all beings.
