Registered medical assistant with over 6 years of clinical and laboratory experience, looking to expend my passion in helping others.
My name is Juan M. Hernandez, registered medical assistant and lab system facilitator for a children's hospital. Also, I've been appointed by City Council to the groundwater committee to a 4 year term. My goal is to create and ameliorate a better world through unity, strength, equality, and kindness. I believe in a vision built on the premise that all we are all created equal - all sentient lifeforms alike.
When I pray for peace, I find myself examining my actions and inspired to make real change where it counts most. There is no way to peace. Peace IS the way.
Together... we can make a difference.

Clean the Bay Day
Each year, on the first Saturday of June, thousands of Virginians simultaneously descend on the rivers, streams, and beaches of the Chesapeake Bay watershed to remove harmful litter and debris. Thirty years strong, Clean the Bay Day is a true Virginian tradition and an annual opportunities.
I've volunteered by assisting families with their belongings by bringing them to the beach/camp as they attend to their child with autism. As a parent of a child with autism, it's not easy. It was great volunteering my time to the children and our community.
